About Us

Jeana, Emma and Matt Nash
We have lived in Rwanda since August of 2010 and we believe that God has called us here to serve Him and the people of East Africa.

Matt is a volunteer Professor of Bible and Theology at Africa College of Theology. ACT is a ministry of Africa New Life Ministries. He also serves on the Executive board for Community Churches of Africa. Matt has just become a Master Trainer with Dynamic Church Planting International and serves on the Executive Board with the Community of Christian Churches of Africa to provide Pastoral and Church Planting training to them. They have over 300 churches in Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Jeana helped start a ministry called Spoken For. Spoken For is a ministry for abandoned and vulnerable children. There have been five babies so far that Spoken For has cared for. One has been adopted by a family in the United States and the other four are currently in great homes being fostered here in Rwanda. Jeana also does all the organization and administrative details for all of the Pastoral training we are doing here in Rwanda. Also, she is helping a woman who has started a work readiness program for young Rwandan women in Kigali.  On top of all of this she is homeschooling Emma this year and has really enjoyed it.

Emma is 6 years old and she absolutely loves living in Rwanda. She loves reading books, playing with her friends and exploring this great country of ours.

  1. Hi Matt,
I am from Harvest Community Church in Oak Creek, WI. I have been coming to Rwanda with my church for the last several years. We are caring for village there through Solace Ministries.
My church is looking into planting a church there and we are just starting out and I wonder if you would be willing to share information with me to help us assess how to best go about this.
    Thanks.
    Julie
